Digital signage for corporate communications
Take your corporate messaging beyond the inbox. Digital signage allows companies to put important messages in physical spaces and ensure that they’re seen by employees. Mix HR notifications and company KPIs with infotainment feeds to capture people’s attention.
This meeting could have been an email a digital sign.
Digital signage is an excellent platform for corporate communications. Why send endless email reminders about HR forms, company news and KPI dashboards, when you can display them across your company facilities, and mix them with attention-grabbing infotainment content? XOGO works with a number of large companies that are not only using digital signage for customer-facing ads and content, but also for their own internal communications. Here are some of the most common scenarios.
Conference Rooms
Why let your expensive conference room screens just sit idle between meetings? XOGO enables you to display your content automatically, whenever a meeting is not in session. Whether it's image and video content, KPI metrics, stock prices, Microsoft Power BI charts or even your business' social media feeds - XOGO has you covered.
We are one of only two digital signage platforms worldwide that has been integrated into Microsoft Teams Rooms. Simply turn on digital signage in the Microsoft Teams PMP (Pro Management Portal), select XOGO as your provider and then adjust your time-out settings so XOGO kicks in between meetings. Then your signage content will play anytime that your MTR device is not in an active meeting or in sleep mode. Your playlists are easily set up and edited in XOGO Manager. XOGO for Microsoft Teams became available for MTR-Windows devices in November 2024; it's coming to MTR-Android devices in late 2025. We also have a version of XOGO in development for Zoom Rooms, which will be publicly available late summer 2025.
Break Rooms
Employee break rooms are an excellent place to display corporate communications, since many or most staff will visit a break room at some point during the day. Break rooms tend to represent a captive audience, since employees are typically there to eat lunch or make a coffee. This is therefore an excellent place to mix important news and announcements with infotainment feeds (i.e. world news, weather updates, sports scores, local traffic and more). The goal is to inform the viewer while also offering entertaining media.
Lobbies
The front lobby of your building is a prime place to install digital signage. Welcome your visitors with a personalized message, a map of the building, or display infotainment like news, stock prices and sports scores while your visitors wait for a meeting. Because XOGO runs on most operating systems, lobby signage can be run on any standard TV or even in a web browser on the front-desk PC, with the monitor turned toward the lobby.
Manufacturing Floor
We have a number of customers leveraging XOGO to show content on the manufacturing floor. Employees working in manufacturing and assembly often don't access their email everyday, so it's more efficient to display important communications across screens in their work areas. Our manufacturing customers typically mix automated infotainment content along with internal metrics (i.e. units produced today or days since injury) via Power BI or GeckoBoard charts. Since XOGO is cloud-based, the content on these screens can be managed by supervisors in the building, or by their colleagues in another city or state.
Call Centers
Similar to the manufacturing example, call center employees tend to be located in a busy office with lots of computer terminals designed specifically for phone-based support rather than emails. Our call center customers leverage XOGO in these busy office locations in order to display internal HR communications, customer training videos, social media feeds, and live metrics i.e. current call volumes.
