Now Playing: Dynamic Content
In addition to playing your own graphics and videos, XOGO has the ability to pull in dynamic content. This allows you to display the latest news, weather and sports from around the world, pull in your business’ social media pages, or push internal data from sources like Facebook Workplace to your screens. It’s the best way to keep your content fresh without having to hire a full-time designer. To get started, simply create your free trial account and follow the directions below. After the free trial, pricing starts at $35 per screen per month for unlimited infotainment and social feeds (quantity discounts available).
“Dynamic content is a super powerful add-on for XOGO. It gives you access to literally hundreds of beautiful content feeds including world news, trivia, sports, Facebook and Twitter feeds, and much more. You just drop the feeds into your XOGO playlist and they play alongside your own graphics and videos. Very cool!” -Maxwell R., Marketing Director
How it Works: 4 Easy Steps
Step 1: Set up your free trial.
Click the link above to start a 30-day free trial with our technology partner Seenspire. You’ll be able to browse through hundreds of content feeds in various categories and multiple languages. Choose from news and sports, social media feeds like Facebook and Twitter, daily quotes and trivia, and much more.
Step 2: Customize your feeds.
Authorize your social media pages, add your company logo to your feeds and adjust your animation settings. Important: if you are using a XOGO Mini please set your feeds to no-animation in order to ensure that playback is smooth.
Step 3: Prep your feeds for XOGO.
When your feed is ready, click save and then copy the feed’s URL. In order to load it into XOGO please download this simple html document* and open it on your computer with TextEdit (Mac) or Notepad (Windows). Replace the XOGO URL inside the file with your feed’s URL, and then save the file. Important: do not change the file name - it must be named index.html. Now zip the html file. On a Mac just right-click the file and choose Compress. On a Windows 10 machine right-click the file and choose Send to > Compressed Folder. Now you can rename the resulting zip file something descriptive, i.e. Facebook or World News.
*If your screen is mounted vertically in portrait mode, use this html document instead.
Step 4: Load your feeds into XOGO.
Once you’ve prepared a zip file for each of your content feeds, you can load them into the XOGO Manager app just like any other graphic or video (see: Getting Started). Each feed will appear as a blue icon along with its file name. Simply drop the feeds into your playlists and they’ll play in XOGO Player alongside your own graphics and videos. Digital signage has never been this easy!
